M...I promise-no dicking around with your culture! <br /><br />My first stove was a wood-burning sort that was reliable enough, but had different temperatures throughout. I never did get very good at calculating what to put where, and for how long. If you can master waving your hand in the oven to gauge the temperature, it will make you a better cook.
